MSIC Cards
The Maritime Services Identification Card (MSIC) is required by all workers entering restricted maritime zones in Australia such as the major stevedores Patrick, AAT and DP World.

There are a number of suppliers of cards in this market. The card in itself does not give the user the right to enter a stevedore's Terminal. The stevdore still has final say as to who may come onto the site.

1-Stop https://msic.1-stop.biz/1stopportal/index.aspx provides a dual-purpose MSIC card that provides access to AAT, DP World and Patrick terminals in addition to MSIC identification.

Persons who want to access a terminal can apply for an Accss Only Card from 1-Stop or apply for a dual-purpose MSIC/Access Card. I believe that the dual-purpose card is more cost effective than applying for an MSIC card elsewhere and also applying for an access-only card.

Our Role
Goalz & Strategeez provided .NET software development services to integrate the MSIC system with the stevedores. When an applicant completes inductions (and the card has been manufactured) information is passed to the stevedores sufficient for them to allow the MSIC cardholder access to their sites. The stevedores use Lenel card systems
